Our very own attorney, Maris Liss, is the co-chair of the American Immigration Lawyers Associations (AILA) DC Moot Court committee.
On September 9, 2015, the Chapter’s committees – Moot Court and Litigation committees – held a successful moot court event at George Mason University. Present were four judges and AILA members Lory Rosenberg, Jim Feroli, DC Drake, and Maris Liss. Ivan Yacub did an amazing job taking the part of OIL Government counsel. They mooted Jason Dzubow to help him prepare for a real argument in the 4th Circuit next week. Nine spectators came to observe and learn about oral argument, AILA members and law students.
