Marcel Miclea is a native of Romania and a naturalized U.S. citizen. His decision to practice immigration law was a fairly obvious choice given that Marcel is a first generation immigrant with first-hand experience in the U.S. naturalization process.
Prior to becoming a New York-licensed attorney and joining George P. Mann & Associates, Marcel has spent over 10 years in the legal field, as General Counsel of a Romanian company, firm owner of a legal consulting firm, and later as Legal Analyst for one of the first three U.S. automakers. During and after law school he was also actively involved in two non-profit organizations.
Among others, Marcel handles the firm’s employment-based non-immigrant visas (e.g. H-1B, TN, L-1, E-2) and employment-based green cards (e.g. EB-2, EB-3, EB-5), waivers of inadmissibility I-601 and J-1 waivers.
Spending time with his family and friends, traveling, doing yoga and playing tennis are some of Marcel’s enjoyments.
