Jeff graduated from Wayne State University’s School of Law where he interned at the Detroit Catholic Archdiocese’s Community Immigration Legal Services (CILS) clinic. At CILS, he worked with Asylum, Refugee, Convention Against Torture (CAT), and Temporary Protected Status (TPS) cases. He went on to open a solo immigration practice, before going to work as an Immigration Services Officer II, at USCIS. While at USCIS, Jeff conducted interviews and adjudicated well in excess of 500 adjustment of status cases, in addition to adjudicating a variety of other subjects.
At George P. Mann & Associates, Jeff attends interviews involving petitions for alien relatives, adjustment of status to that of permanent resident, removal of conditions from permanent resident status, and naturalization (U.S. citizenship) applications. He also represents clients at Master Calendar hearings before the Executive Office of Immigration Review (EOIR) immigration court, and attends ICE orders of supervision.
In the area of employment-based immigration, Jeff files for immigration benefits on behalf of our clients in the E-2 Treaty Trader, H-1B Specialty Occupation, H-2B Seasonal Worker, L-1A Intra-company Transferee, and TN (NAFTA Treaty) categories.
